Lifeline Fire and Safety Systems

Lifeline is pleased to announce that Subé Sports is now the distributor for Lifeline motor sport safety products for North America. Run by Ex North American Rally Champ Chad Di Marco, Subé Sports specialises in the supply of competition and performance equipment to both motorsports competitors and car enthusiasts all over the world. 

Earlier this year, we were called upon to develop a rapid solution to a serious issue that had been affecting a fleet of around 1,000 taxis.

The issue in question related to a rear turbo hose in one particular model of taxi that, when fractured, blew hot gases into the bulkhead and onto sound-deadening material which, in a few incidences, caught fire and completely destroyed the vehicle.

Faced with this major problem the manufacturer contacted Lifeline and asked if we could find a solution.  Following a series of exhaustive tests, Lifeline developed, designed and manufactured an Automatic Fire Protection system to resolve the issue – in under a week.

A smart, belt-mounted and in wear resistant fabric, they add an extra touch of fire safety for your pit crew.

The specially designed fire extinguisher holder allows for fast easy access but will ensure the portable extinguisher remains securely held at all other times.

Following a recent upgrade in our CAD systems and introduction of a unique production process Lifeline can now tailor fire extinguisher systems to your precise specifications. This enables car designers and builders to make maximum use of available space for a system that will deliver a powerful knockdown to fires of any type of motorsport fuel.

Working closely in consultation with major teams, Lifeline R&D technicians have developed our range of quick release steering bosses so that we are now able to supply up to F1 and LMP1 standard.
