In 2022, after over 25 years of continuous service, the Zero 2000 range of plumbed-in extinguishers was replaced by Zero 2020. Delivering on Lifeline’s core engineering principles, the new Zero 2020 range is smaller and lighter than its predecessor, without compromising safety.
Introducing new water-based suppressant technology to the motorsport arena, the Zero 2020 challenges well-established traditions and takes competitor safety to a new level. Lifeline’s market-leading misting nozzle technology provides the fastest heat absorption and fire knockdown performance available from a water-based system.
Supplied with a comprehensive installation kit, the system utilises 3 nozzles in the engine bay and 2 in the cockpit. This further reduces weight and installation complexity, ensuring that racers at every level have access to the lightest and most-effective technology on the market.
Compliant with FIA Technical List 16, the Zero 2020 range meets the 2022 MSUK rule change and its lightweight, compact design makes it ideal for a wide range of vehicles, including:
