The UK has taken its first step in building the world's longest undersea cable. At £48 / mwh, the expected cost of the energy from the cable is far lower than the £92.50 that the Government has agreed to pay for Hinkley Point C, which could help ease cost of the current energy crisis.
According to Xlinks, the new cable will be able to generate enough electricity for over seven million hopes by 2030, which is about 8% of the UK's total energy needs.
Morocco benefits massively from ideal solar and wind resources, required to develop renewable projects that guarantee a reliable and sturdy power production source through the year.
Inflation soars to highest level since the 1980s - Spain 10.2%, Belgium 9.65% with Belgian energy inflation reached 55.99 % in June.
The effect of this for businesses is that household purchasing power will fall by 1% as a result, the strongest contraction in 9 years.
The construction industry may see more difficulties in the second half of the year with rising costs and supply difficulties caused by the war in Ukraine.
As of last week, the inflation rate in the UK is estimated to be at 9% already, with more to come in the second half of this year.
